A wide open space appears in front of the adventurers in this room,
bigger than most other rooms they've seen. In the center of the cavern is
a large raised area, circular, with steps all around it. If the adventurers
walk all the way around this platform, they may count twelve harsh
wooden tables, several of which still hold the remains of some poor
souls, caught in the midst of some pagan ritual. If anyone dares climb the
steps to the platform, they will find one more table, more ornate and
embellished than the rough wooden ones surrounding it. If any of them
knows cultist rituals, they will recognize this as the place of "honor"
during the most sacred ritual of all, when thirteen humans must be
sacrificed together in this room. The thirteenth table is for a woman, a
young virgin in her eighteenth year, someone absolutely perfect, with no
blemishes or disfigurements.
The air has a damp, chill bite in this devilish place that still echoes with
the distant screams of countless innocents. By Elizsophie
